If I need to remind myself to do something, I will sometimes switch my watch to my other arm. It works like tying a string around your finger -- it doesn't tell you what to remember, just reminds you to remember it! Another way is to picture a weird image; like if you want to remember to ask your brother about a car when you see him, imagine him balancing a huge car on his head. When you see him, the image will click in your head.

You don't have to write on your hand. Just take a pen and do a small sign, like a dot or an X in the interior of your thumb, and you'll surely notice it frequent enough to remember what you had to do.

I used to do this quite a lot in highschool when i had a lot of assignments and a busy schedule, now i mostly use a notebook and count on my memory.

it might work, but it could smear, get washed off, etc. Just get a planner and write stuff down in it. Writing on your hands looks trashy anyways.
