I don't think they can give up on Grossman just yet. I know he looked shaky in two of the last three weeks against the Cards and Dolphins, but he's also part of the reason why they went 7-0 to start the season.

If he continues to play like he has lately - especially his drop in play when teams start hitting him - then I think they can consider a QB change. But to do so now would not only be unfair to Grossman, but I don't think it would be good for team morale. Making changes is often the sign of a worried team, and I don't think that's what the Bears want to project to their players or to other teams.

Besides, it's not like you're benching Grossman for Peyton Manning. Brian Griese is a servicable QB, but he's also had his share of problems in the past.

Well considering that hes had 2 miserable games...Dolphins and the Cardinals it seems like hes run out of excuses....."uh I just sucked doesn't cut it anymore"..he made poor decisions and forced the ball or either overthrew or under-threw ...sometimes it seemed like he was color blind just passing it to the opponent? Has he had his eyes exam-ed.?? I'm for real...it was ridiculous to see his output....The defense can only do so much after giving up excellent field position to any decent team they will be bound to score!!!! If he continues to destroy the team then it makes perfect sense to change him out.....put in Greise before he can go back to the podium with his lame excuses again....Once,twice,three times and your gone dude!!!! Yes 7-1 is a good start but they should be 8-0 if they had stellar performance from the QB spot!!!!!

Griese is undoubtedly more consistant, however, I think Grossman at his best is better than Griese. Grossman needs experience. He's getting it. Also the future lies with Grossman, not Griese. Patience. Grossman hasn't started that many games in his career. I know everyone wants the Bears to will NOW but with a little experience they could be a force for years to come.

Not yet, the team is still 7-1 with him at qauterback. Greise is a very good option, but I feel for them to have a shot at the Superbowl it will be on the arm of Grossman.

not yet, i mean look at Rex considering how much he has played over the last 3 years you can still consider him a rookie, and by rookie standards he is doing pretty well the bears are only 7 and 1, not bad.

No.

If the Bears were 1-7, yes.

should new england put in matt cassel (there back up) it was a two bad games, you do'nt pull your starter at one lil incalinc of them being bad, now if he does it again agenst the giants, he stays that game, see if he can pull a comeback out, if not, then if he does it again agenst the pats, then you pull his *** and see what greise can do, but you can't get premature on pulling QBs if you think he should be pulled asap the next game, then y is he even the starter.......

No! Rex does have bad games every here and there, but just because he had one here, doesent mean you should bench him. If you bench him he will just get worse wathcing on the sidelines, and he will ultimately lose confidence.

fair-weather fans suck!

Stick with Rex, he'll do just fine.

I can't believe this...you lose 1 game, have 2 crappy outings in 8 and suddenlly you're a washed up barely-was?
