i used realtor.com when my wife and i were looking. it is very good, along with the direct realtor sites. Honestly, I would use a variety, you may find the house that is right for you easier if you look in as many places as you can. If you lost your keys you wouldn't look in just one place, you'd look all over because you would have a better chance of finding them. The same principle applies here.

Realtor.com has the most listings nationwide.
One thing I would recommend, especially in a down market is to work with a Realtor who has been recommended to you. Most Realtors should also be able to email you listings that match what you are looking for in a home.

Depending on the realtors that work in your area, you should look under their websites. In my area it's Century 21, Remax, Long and Foster. You could also hit real estate on the yahoo home page. good luck!
