I guess it is a southern thing? Figures.

No. I have a very developed palette for music and I am really open to most types of music. I picked up DJ Paul Wall's chopped and screwed version of Haunted Cities by the transplants. I have to say that it is one of the worst pieces of garbage music that I have ever heard. It's sounds like someone tried to melt the stereo with a blowtorch while the music was playing. Purely awful and I don't think I'll listen to anymore screwed music. But, I do think screwed is a fitting term for the style.

Yes I like chopped & screwed. Some versions are better that way. But yeah, it's def. a southern thing because you don't hear much of it here up north!
