In the last regular episode, MacGyver discovered the son he never knew he had -- a young man named Sean "Sam" Malloy (Dalton James) -- and the two got on their motorcycles and rode off into the sunset to bond.

Yes it is true. It was the last show and McGyver finds he has a son to a woman Im sorry to say I cant recall her name.

I think it was his nephew. I did a google search and that's the only think I found. But they were questioning it because Macgyver is suppose to be an only child.
