Carl, to get pregnant you must have sex on a day that her eggs are being released.
After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into her mouth and check her body temperature every morning before she starts turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. You must ejaculate on your inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.
After having sex she must stay in bed for about 30 mins with her knees bent up with a pillow under her buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.
You must save your sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.

2 times in 3 hours is not going to really increase your chances that much. The best thing to do if you want to "try" a lot :) Is to have sex every other day.
The person who said a woman is only fertile 24-36 hours is completely wrong. The egg lives 24-36 hours but sperm live longer which increases the fertile window.
Sperm can live up to 5-7 days in fertile conditions.
I would suggest the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler if you are seriously trying to conceive. There is a ton of info in it about learning when to time intercourse.

No BUT just know that the more sex you have in a certain time period the less his sperm count will be, it's best to go 2-3 days w/o having sex before the actual day you want to try

I don't know. I think people over analyze things as I see by other responses. I had sex 2 times in an almost 3 hour span and I am 5 months pregnant. I say go for it.

A mans body makes sperm. There's not a certain number you start with that dwindle away over time. If you are stressed out about getting pregnant faster, you will most likely not concieve. You both need to be relaxed about it. For fun, go to the maternity section and have your lady hold a maternity top in front of her, while standing in front of a mirror and puff out the front of the shirt to see what she'll look like pregnant. Then, go home and have fun. That has worked for me EVERY time. Good Luck :)

yes actually i read somewhere that when trying to conceive you should not overdue the sex intake lol...the sperm count will be less and i believe the ejaculation is probably slower meaning the sperm have a further trip ...and may not make it.
I am 35 weeks pregnant now and my boyfriend and i literally only had sex on the weakends when i got pregnant...so i guess thats proof that more may not be better lol....GOOD LUCK!!

Repeat acts of intercourse will not increase your chances of becoming pregnant. You will only depleat your semen (it takes up to 72 hours for your testicals to replenish after one ejaculation).
besides that, she can only get pregnant for 24-36 hours out of her cycle, if she's not ovulating when you have sex then she wont get pregnant.
Just have sex and enjoy it, you'll be pregnant soon enough. Trying to MAKE yourselves have a baby only makes it harder to have one.
