Your question should read: What kind of computer do you think is good for an online college?

You will not need a lage hard drive necessarily, just for college. But for online education, you do want a high processing speed and internet connection. It needs to be able to run DSL and/or Wireless Internet. It can be done with just a dial-up connection, but it is slow and tedious for courses where a lot of the work is online. I've done it that way and it was frustrating. I have a high-speed wireless connection now and loving it! :o)

I'm working on an MBA online and have done several classes, so I'm suggesting those things from experience.

I recommend a Hewlett Packard or Dell PC. I've never used a MAC, but some people who have them love them.
