Well I've been TTC for 4 months, my ob put me on clomid this past month was the first month that the medication worked. I took a HPT and tested positve on sunday which was CD30. Well today in a few more hours I will find out if I've miscarried, which I'm positive that I did. Has anyone experienced this could it just have been a false positive? I'm not having any cramping, just a period.

First of all, clomid is dangerous to take for more than 4 months. I tried it for a couple of months, but it did not work. My problem was that my periods were very irregular, therefore, I was not ovulating correctly. So, my doc put me on provera (NOT depo provera, JUST provera) for the first 10 days of every month, ensuring that I would get a period around the 15 of each month. After 7 months, I was pregnant. So, the point is, try other things if possible. Secondly, I did get a period when I was pregnant the 3rd time, and my test came out negative, even though it was shown by sonogram that I was already 12 weeks along. So, don't give up and don't let it get you down.

I've not experienced it, but I know that it could be a number of things. You could have had an early miscarraige. or you could just be having normal bleeding. Some women have normal periods throughout their pregnancies. No, it itsn't the norm, but it can happen. Don't think all negative thoughts just yet. Everything could be just fine. Good luck to you, hun, and hang in there!

That is odd Shannon, I'm sorry to hear this, it isn't likely the clomid caused a false positive, however you could have had a chemical pregnancy, God bless and good luck
