I HAVE 3 DOGS , 2 CATS, FERRET, AND COUPLE FISH IN A FISH TANK . I LOVE THEM ALL AND TAKE VERY GOOD CARE ON THEM . I WAS JUST WONDERING WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE THOUGHT WAS THE BEST ANIMALS TO HAVE. THANK YOU EVERYBODY FOR ANSWERING MY QUESTION.HAVE A NICE DAY!

it depends on the individual person. i've been rescuing horses and dogs from stupid people since i was 10 yrs. they are my preference. but i do have 2 cats. and i love them as much as my 4 dogs. i don't have room right know for a horse. or the money.
if you live in a small apartment, i think a cat becomes your favorite.

I have cats and guinea pigs..I love dogs but don't have a yard, I love and used to own horses, but I think it would be a little crowded where I live now in the house that is..LOL Good day to you too.

Goldfish. They're not smelly, easy to take care of, quiet, always there to greet you when you enter your room and very educational.
Trust me you'll enjoy keeping fish.
For starters, buy a simple ten gallon tank. If you live near PetMenu, they have great deals on tanks.

honestly I dont think any animal is the best to have...
Although I have pets I dont think animals enjoy being pets to the extent we want them to... I have cats I adopted them becuase otherwise they would be euthanized.. I love them..
most pets are kept in conditions they dont enjoy - small hamster cages are boring
birds are often housed in small cages that dont even have flight room
many fish die in the process of getting one to the store for sale.. and many die within weeks of being bought
so I guess the answer depends on which side you are on.. the animals side or the owners...

The best pets I've had are dogs & guinea pigs. The not-so-good would have to be my cats, rabbits, hedgehogs and rats.
