okay i got some of this crap figured out...but what I want to find is a way to get a graphic with my name and it is all glittery. I have seen lots of pages with them, but I can't find a way to do it.

you can go to www.glitter-words.net. Basically you can just type "myspce glitter words or letters" in a search engine and it gives you a list of myspace graphics websites.

There should be a code that you can copy/paste into your "about me" section of your myspace from those sites. Usually the codes are located right under the "display" of how it will look; if not, click on the display and it should come up then...

Just keep searching for Glitter Words and you'll see it eventually.
