i have been seriously thinking about going somewhere for a week or 2. i want to go away! at least for awhile. gimme some feedback, please!

Ok you seems deperate to relax your over worked body.
If you wish to pamper yourself with shopping Asia is the best destination where you can get fashion & garments at a fraction of the price. Try Hong Kong, Malaysia or Thailand.
And if you wish to experience sun and beach as well as shopping, Thailand and Malaysia will be your ultimate choice.
Try Phuket Island , Krabi or Pattaya of Thailand. Visit Sipadan Island, Redang Island or Tioman Island of Malaysia.
If you wish to see animals - I'll recommend South Africa Safari adventure.
If you want culture shock - any Asian countries will do the job. But I recommend you try China.

Israel is a great place if you are into history... and the people there love tourists!
The markets are amazing for bartering... food is excellent... the religious devotion of the people is something to aspire to. The wailing wall is a memory to behold.
The Dead Sea is awesome, mineral content of the water has healing properties.
Camel rides are a must, they are beautiful animals.
Flight from Toronto is 14 hours, but well worth the time.

I would recommend the Greek Islands, beautiful scenery, great food, and very picturesque. I say go where you have always wanted to go. When you go get into the culture, the people, and try to experience the place like the locals do. The Dominican Republic is also good. There you can visit Haiti where they have beautiful beaches. Go where your heart tells you just have an open mind.

it all depends on your budget first of all ....then , there may be a place that would attract you more than another? Latin countries , Asian , African ? all on you tastes ?
once you decided on which has something that has caught your attention in your life ?
then , you must consider your budget .
do you want heat? cold ? far away ?
luxury ? simple ?
you also must check the list of the USA embassy to see which countries are on their list of warning ?.......
now if you are adventurous ,just pick one and go ahead ......

I want to go somewhere Tropical like Hawaii, or Domenican Republic. And I want to take a cruise there.. But i am waiting for someone to go along with me :)

if you like tropical weather and if you dont want to be lost in the middle of nowhere half the time go to either belize or el salvador the 2 smallest most beautiful countries in central america and people are really nice they love to help visitors who need to get around its beautiful u wont regret it i promise
