Why do they want a criminal record...can't someone who made a mistake have a chance at happiness?

Oh ya i think they are going to need stronger models...leah just might make the cut tho.

They ask alot of that stuff on the questionnaire that I dont think is necessary - for example - why do we need to include pictures of our supporters? I'm not too sure why they ask about the criminal record thing though

My best friend is. I am one of her "support persons". I think it's only logical that they ask for a criminal records check, but you have a choice to provide one or not. I wouldn't want someone witha bunch of sex crimes to win a million dollars!! The horrors they could do!! And just because they ask for a criminal check, doesn't mean that a petty theft charge when you were 18 will affect their decision.

No, but I looked at the application. Of course, they have a right to do a criminal check - would be nice to just have a regular schmo with a good life and a family to win lots.
