Even in narrow terms of planetary discovery there is a lot to be discovered. For instance, we know very little of what happens in the deep oceans and even less of what goes on in the Earth's core. Drilling into the Earth's crust has almost literally only scratched the surface: we go down a few miles into a planet thousands of miles in diameter.

More generally, there are major discoveries not yet made and in some cases desperately needed. In particular, can humankind continue to develop without causing catastropic global warming/ Also, are there cures for all cancers? Can humankind live worldwide without engaging in war? Etc, etc, etc.

More abstractly, there are reasons why there will always be things to discover. Even if we were to reach a stage where we thought we could predict the future perfectly, we would still have to wait and see if our prediction were correct. Also the logician Godel has demonstrated that we cannot have a complete and consistent representation of everything.

To come back to a direct answer. There is lots and lots left to discover!

P.S. It is a sad commentary on our world that discovery is seen in terms of ownership. If any being created the universe, it was God. What God created is not for humankind to own. Ownership is only a way of allocating goods within the restricted scope of an economy.

The truth of what you are.
The purpose of you being here.
The meaning of living as we do.
The false in us.
What is there in you that never changes
These are but a few things left to discover.
Without seriously understanding these few things are you really living?

Beyond this what is 'love'?
What role should it play in ones life?

To discover something for yourself is a marvellous moment with deep meaning and clarity.

To accept what another has said or found is rather superficial and second hand.

As a race we are rather prone to utilitarian mind set, something has only value if we can use it.

But the most significant discovery would be why humans cannot live without killing another. To have a deep profound insight that would shift your way of thinking and make you a total and original being.

many thanks for the question!

In terms of land masses, perhaps. But there are vast areas yet to be fully explored.

The Amazon continues to yeild newly discovered ancient sites and interesting botanical finds.

The desert regions of the middle east yeild ancient sites and tombs.

The oceans reveal unknown fish thought to be extinct, or just unknown.

The Discovery Channel is a wonderful place to learn about new things found, or old discoveries re-examined.

The only real uncharted territory is "inner space" - that within each of us. Everybody thinks they know themselves, but do they really? We have charted the physical body and all of it's processes. Doctors know about the body , Neurologists have a finite understanding of the brain, but what of the mind? The mind is not physical. The Spirit is not phsyical.

There is the last place to discover!!

Utter nonsense, we still know very little about the deep oceans, and new species are still discovered every single day, somewhere.

And besides, we couldn't know whether or not there was anything left to discove r- if you haven't discovered something, you do not know that you haven't discovered it........

On a physical level the complexities of the human brain are still a mystery to even our top neuro scientists.

Space for those of us who are so fortunate to go there. For us earthbound people, there is still a lot of world to see. It,s a fact that we know more about space than we do about whats under the worlds oceans. Still primitive peoples to learn about and study their way of life. Lots of interesting stuff to see and do on planet earth.

Certain philosophical questions will never be answered, and so you can still ask and debate those.
On a physical level, you could go explore the Amazon. There are bugs and things never before documented by man. That's pretty cool.
