Do Republicans know about Jim Jeffords? Do Democrats?

He is a Republican from Vermont who seems to be the best of both worlds.

Does anybody know more about him?

Jeffords is pretty good...there are other examples.

He's an ex-Republican, actually; he left the GOP back in May '01 because he felt the Bush administration was acting autocratically. He seems to be a good legislator.
