i would receive an apology becos there is more to life than having sex or flowers or chocolate...
an apology if it truly comes from the heart (ie if it's sincere) can go a long way in making a relationship stronger but flowers, sex and chocolate are just a quick fix kinda like what duct tape was originally created for...and finally it takes a real man to say 'am sorry or 'i apologize' others just buy flowers or chocolate to avoid apologizing
in all things learn to forgive and forget!

As much as I love chocolate (and boy do I...) I would rather receive an apology because he's being honest and admitting he did something wrong. Giving an apology is a lot harder to do than buying someone flowers or chocolates (even though we like them too!).

The apology as long as it is sincere. Although if he apologizes and gives me flowers or chocolate even better. The sex thing depends. Women consider sex such an emotional thing that she will have to have forgiven you before the act to get any satisfaction from it. Definitely stick with the apology.

Apology. Flowers wilt. Chocolate makes you fat. The man gets something out of the sex too and if i am pissed I want him to suffer a little. An apology make him a little humble.

None of those could make me forgive him if it was something that bad. But, if it was just something small and forgivable I would need an apology, and he would need to kiss my butt the rest of the day.

Apology....because it takes more guts and is more personal. Anybody can go out and buy chocolate or flowers. It takes a real man to say he's sorry.

An apology, because it comes from the heart whereas I could go out and buy myself flowers or chocolate, and I can get sex from anyone.

apology with actions of change following that supports it; because i want to know he is aware of what he did wrong and discontinue doing it. sex, chocolate and flowers are for the moment, a sincere apology is for good.

I can grow my own flowers. I can buy my own chocolate. I can even have my own sex. An apology would be what I would need, and nothing else would do. A sincere apology.
