I wrote to him when I was 7 asking to go to a chimpanzee tea party, like the ones they used to show on the PG Tips ads. Never heard back, so rude. They always just took the easy road... The kid who wanted to push the first domino, or wanted to meet someone like John Craven or something.
Monkeys would have been way more entertaining no?!!

Oh Wow! I used to watch that programme every week and never gave a thought for all the poor earthlings he wasn't able to get to help. That massive chair obviously contained a secret incinerator. It must've been stuffed with unopened letters and the cigar lighter was the ignition switch. Oh! All those hopeful, eager children wanting a gorgeous golden medallion strung on red ribbon. Their hopes and dreams going up in a puff of smoke! And now, an entire generation blighted by disappointment (I read the pain within all your lol's). That is sooooooooo sad!

Strangely I once had a set of shelves fall down and couldnt let go of the shelf. Walking past the window was a jovial white haired chap, and i called for help. He re set the screws holding the shelf whilst i supported it
It turned out to be jimmy saville so he did fix it for me
no..no he didnt really..it would have been nice though

NO HE DIDNT "FIX" ME
- BUT JIMMY SAVILLE DID GIVE ME A BIG HUG (HOLDING HIS SMELLY CIGAR) WHEN I MET HIM DOWN THE DOCKS. NO, ITS NOT A KINKY METAPHORE...HE WAS WITH A SPEED BOAT TEAM AT HARTLEPOOL MARINA ABOUT 9 YEARS AGO (AND I HAVE A PHOTO OF HIM HUGGING ME TO PROVE IT).
I ALSO HAVE A MORE RECENT PHOTO OF 'HANDY ANDY' HUGGING ME THAT WAS TAKEN AFTER I'D WATCHED HIM SCREWING - BUT THAT'S A DIFFERENT STORY ALL TOGETHER!!!
