Hmm. Legally, what are they for? Can I be arrested if I am caught smoking crack in an alley?

It is VERY delicate. On one hand you want to be safe (I'm assuming thats the Gov'nors pitch) BUT what about PRIVACY issues.

Sounds a bit scary, a little over the top, and something out of V for Vendetta.

I also think it is stupid that you have to pay for a license to own a TV.
