My MP3 stated with 512 MB, but i found the volume size is 499 and used space is 159MB, but there's nothin inside the MP3, no hidden file as well, i still cant figure why the 159 MB used

Yeah the MP3 player will not have the entire 512MB to work with but something if wrong is there is 159MB being used up Try reformatting the drive if you can THe "ROMS' take up room but not that much

You, see...most flash drives/mp3 players com with ROMs stored on
them. These ROMs contain driver and device information, manufacturer details etc. (These ROMs take up space mind you) The stupid thing is that you can't get rid of
them. :-(. You, dear questioner are experiencing the unwanted effect
s of ROMs
