It's good that you are planning to use protection. I think the pill is a very good form of birth control. But you also need to use a condom to protect against sexually transmitted diseases. Call planned parenthood. They can answer all of your questions. Good luck.

Absolutely! And good for you for thinking of birth control. Condoms are still probably wise at this point too, the pill doesn't protect you against STDs. Earthstar is way off base, the pill will not harm your body and its far better to be taking it than be pregnant at your age.

Well if you're having sex then there is a big chance that you can get pregnant. So I suggest you go on the pill. And also, don't forget to use protection!! You don't want to end up pregnant at 15.

Yes, I think you should BUT that is a decision you need to check with your doctor about. You need to make sure you are A.O.K for Birth Control Pill/shot/etc. (Could i recommend the patch?? I know when i was a teen, forgetting a pill now and then happened and with the patch, it's only once a week and you can be discreet about it) But most of all, I am SOOO glad that at 15 you are dong what you can to prevent pregnancy and std's. (yes, still use condoms, std's are everywhere!!!)
Thank you for trying to be responsible. Kudos to you!!!
But get a check up, talk to the doc, and see what works best for you and your body!!

If your having sex yes you should go on the pill. If you dont want your parents knowing you have sex as most young kids dont you can always tell them you'd like it because you have really bad cramping with your period and it will ease those pains as well as regulate your cycle. By the way just because your old enough to bleed doesnt mean you have to breed.

Yes you should definitly be on birth control. You shouldn't even be having sex at 15, that is young, but if you are then you should be responsible about it or your going to end up with a baby.

USE CONDOMS!!!! I wouldn't use the pill because it sucks, it screwed up my life. I have this huge hormone inbalance problem, but at least I didn't get knocked up. There are many other ways for you to protect yourself. If you're ready to fu$# then I suggest you study about protection too. Good luck!

I know you are not trying to hear this but you are way too young to have sex, your body is not even fully developed yet for sexual activity. You should have waited but if the damage is already done, then please use condoms until you can get the pill, and you should ask questions about the pill to your doctor, it can do some damage to your body and hormones...Good luck!

You should go to plannedparenthood.com find your local office, get on the pill and stop trying to make babies.
15 is way too young for sex, because you're not old enough to realize the responcibility you have to NOT create children. if you dont want them dont make them, the adult thing to do would be to USE PROTECTION.
Either stop having sex and pretending to be ready for adult realtionships, or go on the pill.
You dont need your parents permission and its free at planned parenthood.
