So far, I have worn boots with heels of 3" to 4", which add some welcome altitude. Can I go much higher without creating a freaky appearance? Out in the world, women are constantly stopping me, on the street, at social events, and in stores, to talk about my boots. Usually, they are very complimentary. I want to know what the women here have to say, about the man in towering high heels.

Please don't go higher. You'll just project a lack of confidence, I think, which you don't seem to have now -- keep it that way.

This woman says "I see he knows he's on the short side. Well, good for him for not turning into one of those fireplug guys who 'body builds,' thinking he'll somehow be taller if he's wider. But it's still like a bald guy wearing a hat."

Nothing at all wrong with bald guys in hats -- unless they think they're fooling people.

I'd say, height is not everything. My last guy was 5 foot 7, and my 5 2 frame fit perfectly with his -- my head landed right on his shoulder when we hugged! :-)
There are men who wear stacked boots -- I heard that Dog the Bounty Hunter does, and it's fine, if that's what you want to do. I personally would worry if they got too high, about what exactly you had to prove. There's something about a man in cowboy boots that is sexy. But a guy in cowboy platform high heels is a whole 'nother situation! :-)

yeah, try thick soled shoes, like army boots. You probably won't want to go much higher than 3 or 4 inches in just the heel though.

Go as tall as you feel comfy in. I'm the same height and don't usually go any higher then that just because i dont like to tower over guys,

If you where hiking/army boots all the time, you could probably fetch 6'0''-6'4'' and still look straight.

Remember though, taller isn't always better!
