Dick Gaughan is great too but he's Scottish not UK-ish

Leon Rosselson doesn't have the best voice but he writes great songs.

Attila the Stockbroker is excellent too but not strictly folk.

their not folk but the sex pistols are from the UK and their one of the best bands ever

Seth Lakeman is doing some great stuff and is just getting more and more popular although Cara Dillon has done some great stuff.
