Vitamin C is one of the antioxidants. It is helpful in boosting immunity. Also, when one takes Iron/B12/Folate, Vitamin C is synergistic, will help the body aborsb the Iron/B12/Folate.
Also, take some garlic pills, those will boost your immune system as well.

No, vitamin C is not for energy. Yes, a cold can last that long. If your cough has lasted that long though, you may want to get a doctor to check it out. Try looking for some lozenges with Zinc in them...those are good if you have a cold. And continue taking vitamin C too!

maybe a little but it is not the function of it. it certainly wouldn't have given you that amount of energy after one drink, and rubex is not a strong source of vitamin C anyway. colds can last that long sometimes. take lemsip too. it may be an allergy as well or sinusitis and that would make it last longer.

It's better take vitamin c source from vegetable and fruits. Such carrot, tomato, orange, guava fruit, etc. Keep trying to drink warm water to relieve your cough, and buy cough medicine. Drink a lot it will relieve you. Get well soon.

nutrition C does not have any capability in it. capability is measured in energy. you purely get capability/energy from fat, carbohydrates, and proteins. fat has approximately 9 energy according to gram, and protein and carbohydrates have approximately 5. in case your supplements have energy in them, it particularly is from the stuff they use to dissolve the supplements, so that they could make the pill or liquid or in spite of.
