just got back from the polling place and there were quite a few people there enough to have to wait in line to vote all stations were full using the hard copy paper ballot. yet there were 5 of the diebold machines there also and nobody wanted to use them they would rather wait in line to vote than use them. do you think that the government will take notice of this and see just how much americans distrust this method of voting or will big brother win out and force us to use this untrustworthy voting device

I do not understand the distrust at all. Granted people are not usually excited about change, but this change is a good thing. In actuality, the number of votes thrown out with the 'old' ballots is more than what it is thru any electronic balloting. So calling electronic balloting "untrustworthy" is unwarranted, in comparison to old manual ballots.

If there is a longer line for the machines I go to the paper balot, and vice versa, I really don't care how I vote, I just want to vote and get out of there. Those places are crazy as ever!
