long. Does anyone else have a cycle like this? My doctor told me that it is normal to have a cycle this long but sometimes I feel like something could be wrong. Plus it is hard to tell when I am ovulating and when I sould take a pregnancy test especially on the really long cycles.

Your doc is right--totally normal.

My cylces have changed after both of my pregnancies. 31-36 days isn't that irregular. If you charted your basal body temperature I bet you find that something delays your ovulation every once and awhile. Have you had extra stress or been sick on the longer cylces?

If you are trying to figure out ovulation then I would highly reommend the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. It gives you a lot of ways that you can learn how to better predict your cylces and your ovulation.

well, you said you had your son 6 years ago, that means that you are 6 years older and when we get older, our bodies change. my mom is saying the same thing that her cycles are "longer", but still with the same result, i wouldn't be worried at all, but i know we all worry about this stuff!!
