I am asking this because it did show up positive, 9 days after i had intercourse with my bf. My little girl is already born...she's a doll baby. But i'm trying to figure out if she is my bfs or my ex bfs. The only time i had sex with my bf was 9 days before the took the pregnancy test and it did show up positive. Can someone give me some insight on this please?

My thought would be that you had sex a couple weeks prior to having sex with your bf and you were already pregnant at the time you had sex with your boyfriend.
it takes the ovum about 3-5 days to even reach the uterus and implant, and quite a few more days to actually start producing the hormones that peek and show on a home pregnancy test. Iam sure its not impossible (some women just produce a massive amount of hormones all the time) but its still really unlikely.
But, you should have ovulated on an off day, had a long cycle without knowing it... or just mis-calculated something.
Just go get a paternity test done. If its not your boyfriends then you know who the daddy is.

I took a pregnancy test a week before my period was to begin. It showed positive. I went to the doctor and she told me that I was 10 days pregnant, but 3 weeks in doctor time. It is all confusing. I would go and get a paternity test done, but if your boyfriend knows and he is fine with the thought of the baby not being his, then I would just let it be. This all depends on your relationship with the current and the ex bf.

in my opinion and experience 9 days is too soon when I was pregnant with my daughter i took a pregnancy test just like you did it was about 9 or 10 days after and it was negative then about a week and a half later I took another one and it was positive so most likely when you slept with your bf you were already pregnant by your ex I'd say to just have a DNA test done you dont want to drive yourself crazy for the rest of your life wondering

I was told that it takes about two weeks for the best pregnancy test to be able to detect a pregnancy. I would not think that it is the 2nd guys baby. I am thinking it is your ex. Because when you take a test, most say, not until you have missed yoiur period, and if you just barley had sex then it would not have showed any reproducing hormones. It takes at least five days to start the process. sorry.

oh oooo.. congrats on the princess. it is possible implantation occurs 6-12 days after intercourse so yeah it is possible but to be sure you are going to have to do DNA...

It takes at least 2 weeks to confirm pregnancy with urine. You must have already been pregnant.
