My Mam and Da would 'a give arm and leg for council flat or trailer when us 14 kids were born. We were so poor when i were a lass we used to live int shoebox ont side o' motorway. Times were so ard, i remember our little johnny running owt in street wit andful o' buttonz an asking lady ta sew a shirt on 'em for im. Aaah, good ol' times..........! lol

I thought it was a waddle but that's the thing hanging from its neck. It could very well be another waddle but I'm not sure.

Wattle - red, loose appendage at the neck.
Snood - red growth from the base of the beak.
Caruncle - red bit on the head and neck.

They're the cranial thoracic air sacs.
I'm afraid there is no "common name" for them like the "wattle".
