1030am on the East coast and the news channels are already reporting on malfunctioning machines. The folks who have been complaining about the Diebold machines appear to be correct. They are faulty and prone to hacking. They need to at least provide a paper receipt which can then be counted at the end of the night to audit if needed.

The question is designed to demonstrate bias. The only answer would be we'll have to wait and see. By the way, your ridicule of the tactic doesn't make it any less true. Nixon placed the republican battle cry in play for decades....

"I am not a crook!"

And the republican strategy as well...

Resign before convicted.

I think your other answers sums it up for you. Right now, you seem to be defensive. Obviously, you think that the Republicans will win. We will see. The sad thing is that no matter who it is, you can't make everyone happy, all the time. There are issues on both sides, I realize this, but in the same breath....... Go DEMOCRATIC PARTY!!!

don't start waving the 'when' flag yet. gotta wait and see. a lot of repubs are pissed at some of their canidats and might not vote.
history shows that when there is a high voting turn-out the the repubs tend to win and when there is a low turn out that dems tend to win.
so just make sure you get your friends and neighbors out out to vote! we want a lot of voters today!!!

and i think you are right, if the repubs winn they will all cry!

Crying "Wolf!" only works so often, but my guess is that numerous high-profile people will use that option yet again if they fail to take both Houses.

It's tiring and tedious, but until so many Americans stop voting for representatives who publicly exhibit such childish tamtrums, we'll just get more of the same.

Here's to the end of political ads (for twenty months, at least) at about 9pm tonight!!! Woo-hoo!!!

Since when are the Republicans any different than the Democrats. It amazes me that they are supposedly so lily white. I'm 70 and I don't remember that they are so completely great.

Of course. They'd be stupid not to.

Elections are the whole PURPOSE of the party. If they loose and see that maybe they can say this and get some more seats... wouldn't they? DUH.

It's worth it to them to say things like that.

it depends on whether the repubs will outright steal another election...by the way, does the gop still have the supreme court on speed-dial?

When the Republicans lose Congress they'll try the same thing.

Sadly, some of them probably will. But the general public won't buy it.
