Ask Symantec when you renewal the subscription.

Symantec (Norton) can now detect illegal copies of their products and have been shutting the security down, so even if you were given a code, it will be of no use to you.

Norton is crap, do your self a favor and get rid of it. Free protection
is better than that. There's a good list of free ones here if you need

I think it is a paid subscription. And if someone helps you to bypass it then they risk blame of piracy. Why don't you use freely availble good anitvirus programs instead?
