You need to know the market you plan to sell to so do some research and find out as much as possible. Then create a strategy to communicate with potential customers what your selling and why it is good to buy from you. This may be by advertising or sending out mail shots, or dropping notes through doors, email or website.

That is a great question. And, if it were answerable in simple format, you would see many more small businesses.. But the matter of the fact is, your question stumps business from small to large.
