A little streaking of blood is ok. You need to worry if it becomes bright red associated with cramping. Please take care and if it gets worse contact your doctor. In the mean time take it easy and try to rest..

The same thing happened to me and I was always worrying that something bad would happen with the pregnancy. I just hoped that everything would be fine and it was, I now have a four month old daughter!! I think that it is normal, the thing that is not normal is heavy bleeding. Also I never had bright red bleed, it was always darker in color sometimes brownish. I think bright red blood should be more alarming. But try to enjoy the pregnancy and if you are really worried go to the doctor. I wish you the best.

Some spotting in early pregnancy can be normal as well as some brownish discharge around 7-8 weeks but blood, red, heavy or clotted is not normal at any stage.
You should always let your health care provider know if you have any signs of bleeding.

Light bleeding and/or cramping – The most common reason for light bleeding during early pregnancy is implantation. Implantation bleeding occurs when the fertilized egg implants itself in the uterine lining and usually occurs about 10 to 14 days after conception. Bleeding caused by implantation is very light, often the only sign you might notice that indicates implantation has occurred is a small (can be as small as a pinhead followed by no further bleeding) spot of blood left on your panties.

I bled when I was about 5 weeks but that was because I was low in some hormone (I forget which one). Go to your doc immediately. I got pills otherwise I could have miscarried. Bleeding isn't normal during pregnancy!
