I know all about implantation bleeding and stuff, but I'm wondering if it is normal to have light spotting on the day and day after your expected period.

Example: I was on a 31 day cycle this past month after being on a 29 day cycle for about 4 months. Well if it was 31 days, then I should have started my period yesterday. I've only had a light spotting that was in the morning, and nothing the rest of the day. This morning I had the same thing too. This is that this is what happened last cycle. I was supposed to start October 4th, but spotted the 4th and 5th and didn't get heavy till the 6th. I think I ovulated on the 22nd or 23rd, and had some spotting on the 26th.

What do you think this is? No cramps, but I have nausea, daily headaches, tired all the time (I was late for work this morning), breasts aren't reall sore but they feel a little heavy, acne, body aches esp. lower back...

I'm also experiencing the same thing when my period is due.. light spotting for 1st few days, constant tireness, headaches, lower back aches, acne, nausea, tender breasts and food cravings.. but heard tat early stages of pregnancy is similar to pms.. so it is very difficult to tell until u wait for abt a week.. get a pregnancy test kits and find out.. or better still go for blood test to be sure.... good luck!

sounds like your body is adjusting from change in birthcontrol. about 7 months ago I switched from depo to ortho tricyclen and had all of you symptoms for the first 4 months. My breasts hurt sooo bad and I felt like I was having back labor or something, it killed. I was also queasy. According to most websites about switching birth control these are all normal symptoms. I also called Planned Parenthood and they said it was normal also. As for the bleeding.... sounds normal too. Just call your doctor's office or planned parenthood and tell them about you birthcontrol history and the changes in your body and they will let you know if you should be seen! Good Luck!

this also applies to being on birthcontrol and then stopping it... your body has to readjust to being without all the hormones!

That has been happening to me lately - I'll get two days of spotting and then on the thrid day, my period comes full force. It's really depressing, especially when you want to be pregnant so badly. Good luck to you.

Sadly, it just sounds like your period is about to start. I know how frustrating this can be, especially when you are ttc, but it doesn't really sound like pregnancy. Hopefully I am wrong. Take a test if your period hasn't started in two or three days.
