you can do 2 things
1: buy a "genuine" win xp
2:call microsoft and they will fix that for you for a price but
ur better off buying a "genuine" win xp from a store like walmart install it then actavite it as the one you have will stop working in 30 days & ur be locked out from desktop

If you bought Windows from a computer store, go to them with the receipt and also call your local Microsoft Rep.
If not... well a license for win xp is not that expensive.
