My daughter is 5mos, and she weighs almost 17lbs and is 25 1/2 inches long, I was just wondering what others ppls baby were at at this stage.

I pulled out both my girls baby books to answer this one hehe.
My oldest daughter at 5 months weighed 15 lbs. 18 oz and was 27".

My youngest was 15 lbs. 10 oz and 24 1/4" at 4 months and 19 lbs. 1oz. and 26 1/2" at 6 months.

My son is now 5 months old and he weighs almost 25lbs, he was 22lbs 3oz at 4 months, and he was 27 1/2" at 4 months. He is a very big boy, he was 9lbs 10oz at birth though, so it was expected.

The rule of thumb I heard is double the birth weight at 6 mo, triple at 12 mo.

I think my son was about 10 or 11lbs at 5 mo

My baby was around 22lbs at 5 months, but he's like that. He's just big. 17lbs for a girl is really big too. (But not too big. Perfect for her I am sure ;) )
