Shame she must be so stressed. If she is innocent she has nothing to worry about , but still, i can just imagine what she must be going through right now. Innocent or not it is still scary, like someone else mentioned if they thought her guilty they probably would have knocked on her door and arrested her. Aahh shame, good luck to her and to you as her friend.

No, there are many reasons for the police wishing to speak to people and if she is as trustworthy as you say, then there can't possibly be any evidence against her anyway. In the unlikely event of her being arrested, she would be entitled by law to telephone a solicitor. Perhaps the police need her fingerprints to eliminate her from their enquiries or something routine like that. Perhaps they want to question her as a witness. It could be many things.

She wont be arrested. She probably wont even be interviewed. If she was going to be interviewed she would be called a voluntary attender and as such has the right to consult a solicitor.
Its most likely they need her to make a statement in relation to the matter, something along the lines of she locked up that night or she handed something to someone.
She has nothing to worry about.....

and for numb nuts....we are not all b***ards, so take the chip off your shoulder and grow up. Good man.

She shouldn't be arrested as they would have called for her not the other way around. It is prob better to speak to a solicitor about this as it will put her mind at rest and be better for her if they intend to press charges, but it just sounds like they need a statement from her, they have prob had statements from other personnel at the post office. All the best.

If they are calling and asking her to come in i don't think they will arrest her but, question her. If they have concrete evidence that she stole they wouldn't be calling her on the phone but calling at her door at 5 in the morning. She should go and see, take a solicitor if she is worried as Police are Bast#rds and will stitch up anyone just for an arrest!

I am sure that they are just looking to question her and see if she is aware of who might be the culprit. If they were going to arrest her they would have gone to her home and done it not asked her to come in. She should at least call them ASAP or go see them. The longer she takes to get back the them the more suspicious of her they will become.

no she want be arrested when she get there unless they have her on camera . if they was going to do that they would just pick her up at home . she need to clear this up with the post office it could turn into a federal case and you don't want that to happen .

They probably want to talk to everyone. She shouldn't worry if she didn't do it; they can obviously have no proof. I highly doubt they are setting her up for an arrest; if the police thought she was the culprit they would come and get her.

She's not going to be arrested. It's protocol to ask everyone about a crime, even if they know who did it and if they know it wasn't her. I went through this once at a restaurant where I worked. The cops have to interview everyone, it's a formality.

Sounds like they do just want to interview her. If she has not stolen anything she really should just turn up when requested, tell them the truth and get it over and done with.
