also on Book Tour:

Leonard Nimoy: arrogant and aloof
Alan Alda: Seemed to be permanantly distracted
Jimmy Stewart: genuinely nice person
Peter O'Toole: he had been drinking I think...very funny guy
Oliver North: seemed to be acting...nothing genuine here
Anne Rice: amazing woman...drank an entire six pack of Fresca and signed books for the next SIX HOURS and never once got up to go to the bathroom.

William Gibson: Darkly mysterious
Dave Barry: I'd have beer with him any day...he's regular people
G Gordon Liddy: Must be on amphetamines...very energetic for an old guy
Robert Jordan: Like every fantasy wargamer you've ever known
Winston Groom: nice guy
Robert Parker: ok
Dick Francis: Drank an entire bottle of red wine while he signed books...had no effect on him that I could tell.
Kirk Douglas: Dandruff....
Bill Cosby: He's a beautiful human being. Had time and kind words for everyone...and that took an awful lot of time when he could've just scrawled his name on a book and moved on.

There are more....but my brain isn't working very well today....caffiene deficit, I think.

When I was a kid, I met Marie Osmand. My dad worked for IBM way back then and the company used to host an annual Family Day. She was the entertainment hired one year and she hung out after the show to talk to people. She even played for a few minutes with my brother and I. This was something like 25years ago.

Well he's not much of a FAMOUS person, but my brother is friends with Doug from the band Halifax, so I met him a couple times. I even went to Six Flags with him... and then there's also Patty Maloney, but she's not really that famous either. I used to go to LPA with her.

My uncle knows Tony Hawk. My dad met Steve Wonder in an elevator. I went to school, with Steve Wallace, the NASCAR driver, he was kind of annoying though. We called him Steven at school
