I would not consider the invasion of other countries positive. I wouldn't consider the voiding of the Bill of Rights or the Constitution positive. Nor the advancing of the idea "you are either with us or your against us" as a positive influence on the world or the dialog within our country. The bulk of Bush's message is negative and cynical to everyone who does not agree with him. It is anti science, anti freedom, anti Muslim, anti democrat, anti anti anti. This is the most negative administration I have ever witnessed, even exceeding Nixon's, who now looks upbeat and positive compared to Bush. If the democrats win even the House today, you will see many things that people are for.

Hey that's what the the current leaders want. Toss out some crumbs & tell them you are just the best for them.
Stop for a minute & think of why the working man pays more taxes on each dollar of his earnings than a man with investments pays on each dollar of his income?
Now tell me why the rich man needs another tax cut, but the poor man dosn't get a raise in the minimum wage?
Look around you & see how unless you are one of the very rich you are losing gound. You have to pay more for things every day
& you are not getting more money to cover the costs.
Remember what Abe said: A government of the people, by the people & for the people.
Today it's more like A government of the rich, by the rich & for the rich.

And there is something to be positive about?? We are in the middle of a civil war in Iraq, that we had a quite major part in bringing about. The economy is great, if you are a millionaire. The Patriot Act eats slowly away at basic civil rights. The President has the power to throw you in jail and toss away the key, and you have no recourse if he uses the word "terrorist" in his reasoning. Our reputation abroad is in the toilet. I will have a more positve attitude in two years when these bums are out forever, regardless of who replaces them, Democrat, Republican, or Libertarian. ANYONE will be better than this bunch of liars, thieves and despots.

Democrats cannot be positive about the misguided policies of the incompetent Bush administration. Their positive message is that it's time for a change.
