Someone should build a site, sort of like Yahoo Personals that includes profiles of National, state, and local political candidates. It would require you to log in by address, and the site would automatically provide the profiles of the candidates in your districts. It could be set up with check boxes, so after you have reviewed and selected your choices, you could easily print out a sheet with the candidates you picked and carry that list with you to the poll. I have been relying on party sites which can be confusing for most. I believe in voting for the best candidate, not a particular party as so many do.

Damn good plan. It is too hard for people to run non-partisan web sites now a days. Maybe we should contact our Secretary of State and suggest this idea and see what they say.

Well, if you're a working US citizen, then the economy and taxes are probably very important to you. And tied into that of course is the war and the potential for socialized health care as well as immigration, as those will affect the econmy and taxes. And tied to the war, obviously, is the whole "war against terrorism" thing. Which is a threat, but shouldn't be an excuse. All of them are important issues. But right now, the biggest is probably the economy since we're entering a recession at the moment. I would also put China on that list. They're probably not on a lot of people's minds just yet, but no doubt they will be within the next 10 years or so. Vote Ron Paul!

I used to work for AARP and they would question EVERY candidate in EVERY race on most issues. They would then print this out and send it to people and include the local elections for your area.

By the way, I heard some crazy answers, like the guy in OK that wanted to have people make more babies to fix Social Security and populate the STARS!

Check their website.
