I wish, don't like christmas, it is a sad time, just me and an elderly parent, if i was on my own i would clear out of the country for a few weeks to the sun till it was all over

i think my husband would given half the chance! he doesnt like christmas, which i am told is a man thing! my best friends husband is exactly the same! we have decided one year to lock them in a room on their own and they can be party poopers together! while we spend all their money! mwahhhaaa haa ha ha ha ha (evil laugh!)

No - although I fear in the future at some point I might be. My parents are getting older and I don't have a partner - But I will learn how to deal with it, when it happens

I much prefer it to going to people's houses because they don't want me to be on my own. Ie, I would really rather be on my own that with people that aren't particularly important to me.
