Art will take the hit for the Raiders' performance, but the problem is at the top. Al Davis is stuck in the 1970s, and the glory days have long passed.
Al should sell the team, and whoever takes over needs to trade Moss, Porter and the older stars and rebuild. You've got some nice younger players on defense, so I don't think it would take too long....

Art Shell is took the job that no one wanted. So he should never be fired, just replaced with someone who wants it. The defense is good, but the Offense sucks. Watch, when another qualified coach comes around for the job, Art is going back to his front office position.

Of course not, that would be the worse thing the Raiders could do. The defense is playing well, the offense needs to get some consistency and changing coaches every year isn't going to get it done. The problem is the players, they need to step up their game, they are professionals and are playing well beneath there skill level, dropped passes, false starts, missed blocks, is not the coach.

Art shell is the scapegoat this year and someone else will be next year. u need to solve the real problem and that is the ownership and everyone else working under it. u need to give a coach some time to build something. u don't have enough players to contend with anyone. coach is only calling the plays not participating in its execution. Players should be blamed but coaches always are and get fired all the time
Cheers!!!

Yes, anybody who hires a bed and breakfast owner to run any aspect of their team should be fired. Not to mention, that offense looks exactly like the one our team used in highschool.

They should all be fired, starting with the offensive line. Walter didn't do to bad last night. If you look he didn't even throw a pick. He wasn't getting time to do anything but get sacked.

you know it's amazing art shell was an offensive linemen but he can't teach his offensive line to block that's why it doesn't matter who the qb is because that qb is gonna get killed behind that offensive line and plus he was given this crappy team it's not his fault that they can't do much of anything right they don't have much talent

nope, not yet, can't coach a winnning team when there are no winners on the team, and that includes moss, in two more years if they still look like this then GONE, but any head coach should get 3 years to show improvment, inless with in year one and two they go backwards

No...it's not his fault that the team sucks. The whole team itself needs to be re-vamped....both offense and defense.

No, Al Davis should sell the team to someone who the game hasn't passed up.
