To be honest, I don't think they will do anything differently, one reason why they have not stated really what they want to do. What do you think?

Dizz, are you serious? I don't listen to Rush or Hannity, I make my own opinions. So, in Iraq, nothing new, the tax's is the only thing I knew about, and everything else sounds the same. It is highly ironic if you ask me

Traditionally, the big picture for the Democratic party agenda has been to ...
* increase government & its influence because people do not know how to take care of themselves (the Uncle Sam or who's your daddy syndrome)
* take money from the working people and distribute it to others because we are too stupid to know how to spend our own money
* pretend that bad things do not happen in the world and hide under a rock, hoping no one terrorizes us
* assume all people are bad so why keep people in prison
* whine excessively if things do not go their way
* badger opponents because the Dems are obviously the only ones that are correct and everyone else should not even voice an opinion
* pretend like they are for the poor and the Republicans are only for the rich, ignoring the fact that Republican policies do more to wean people off the government tit. The Dems want people to be MORE dependent on government. Clinton had more millionaires in his cabinet than any previous or current administration.
* lie about the Republicans being racist even though Bush has had more people of different races in higher offices than any other president. Actually, more and more WORKING Blacks & Hispanics are becoming Republican (each election there is a higher percentage).
... I can go on and on, but I think you can get the message. The Dems definitely have an agenda they would like to get pushed through. It is up to us voters to see that it does not happen regardless of who Hollywood and the elite media tell us to vote for!
Where's Al Franken, Michael Moore, James Carville when we need them???
...I thought they were the gift that kept on giving.
Perhaps John Kerry should tell some more "jokes".

No president should have a congress which does not question and doubt him. Our system is based on the supposition that their should be checks and balances to power. This president has had a blank check and no oversight on him or the people under him. The Democrats will provide the balance that Bush needs. This will be an enormous change from what has happened for the last six years. Alternative voices will be heard for the first time since Bush began. All committee chairman will be replaced, and so will their agendas. All bills that are put forward will be determined by democrats and that will be very different. There have been no investigations of Bush since he came to office. That will change. It would be very different from what we are seeing now. That alone will be refreshing.

1. Raise taxes (said Charlie Rangel)
2. Weaken the military and national defense (i.e.,less funding)
3. Seek to advance the gay agenda
4. End the tax cuts (and they were for everyone)
5. Block the appointment of decent judges
6. Continue to promote abortion on demand - they crowning (ugh!) non-achievement.
7. Raise the minimum wage, which in reality takes more money from employers - and the employers won't hire as many.

Raise the minimum wage. Allow the Bush tax cuts on the rich to lapse. Open hearings into the Iraq war and hopefully help us get out of it. Open hearings into energy policy and help us develop one based on something other than oil.
Those are the big ones I'm concerned about. Nancy Pelosi has put forth a comprehensive plan of ideas which she says she will begin enacting within 72 hours of taking the Speaker's gavel.
I can't wait...

I guess you've only been listening to Rush & Sean & Ann then.
Democrats want to end the war in Iraq, they want to strengthen the port security, they want to rein in the masssive deficit, they want to overturn tax cuts for the wealthy, start impeachment hearings, etc. etc.
Why didn't you get informed on these issues?
