Sharpies are permanent markers and they dry very quickly on most surfaces. That's why I use them when I need to write on plastic, or other difficult materials. Unfortunately, you will need to buy a new pair of Converses, baby girl. That ink's never going to come out.

Sharpies are permanent. They won't come out, even with a thousand washes. They might fade a little. Trust me, I drew on a pair of jeans once in Sharpie.
