I would NEVER vote a strait party ticket. For me, I voted for who I felt was the best choice. I had to believe in what they stand for. They had to have a good stable platform. Anyone who I noticed changing positions or sliding back and forth on issues. I suppose in a couple cases, it was a choice between the lesser of 2 evils.
I sincerely hope that everyone votes smart today. Far too many people have switched to the party vote and that's one of the worst things you can do. That's NOT why the party system was created.

I have a real tough choice... I'm a Green, Libertarian, U.S. Taxpayer, Natural Law, Reformist.
I get confused on all the choices I have so I pick the best name like Smith or Jones or Jefferson or Washington or a name that sounds like a movie star.

My votes are for the best people, regardless of party. In my case, a Republican for Senate and a Democrat for House.

i understand your problem.it is beginning to look like that all over.because we really can't trust anybody these days (and that's a shame)we have to use our brains and do the smart thing.we have to vote to balance the power.recent shows one side controlling all the power doesn't work at all.its actually kind of embarrassing.history has also shown us that neither side deserve all the power.
