Deep down your daughter wants to believe there is a Santa Claus. She may be acting like she knows for the sake of younger children. She probably knows the truth. Peer pressure would have told her and made fun of her years ago. But if you think this is a problem, you need to talk with her. Now that she is all grown up she will know noboy is going to fill that stocking unless she does it.

I'm 30 and I still believe in Santa! Sure I buy and wrap the gifts for the kids, but that's not the point. Santa embodies the "spirit" of Christmas, good tidings and cheer, hope, inocence, faith.... I think it's wonderful that she still wants to hold on to the joy of the holiday!

OH MY GOD!!!!
Isn't that a little too old for someone to still be believing in Santa Claus?
Your daugher is only a year older than me and I stopped believing when I was seven!
Tell her she is far too old and she will be made fun of in the real world for that.

If you're old enough to have a 19 y/o daughter and still that gullible, there's little hope for you, just keep buying the gifts...

Be patient. It will be a big shock for her. But at this age, she might already know.
