Well i can understand why u asked that question. People often hesitate now a days to go to andaman after that catastrophic tsunami. But just because of that reason one cant stop themselves visiting that beautiful place andaman.
I have been to andaman in 1998 with family. Awesome place! Really awesome place man... Its worth visiting that place...
Cool beaches,environment..its just lovely...
Just go ahead for honeymoon to Andaman...
Problems likely to be faced:
i cant come out with even one problem. you are not allowed to carry corals while returning :-(
well,no serious problem... Food is cheap. Accomodations are available.. For more details of the accomodation u can contact ur nearest travel agent and get the things done in advance..
i had stayed in Teal house in andaman.. It was a good hotel in port blair...
Make sure that u spend at least 10 days there to cover all the tourist points..
Answering this question bought my old memories of andaman..

andamans atruly beautiful placethough things r v v expensive there many hotels r there we stayed at hotel shompen a good one but since this is the tourist season go with prior booking

Good place to visit with those not fearing water. Lots to see under water. Beautiful beaches and waveless sea. Go ahead for ur honeymoon.
