I hang with friends, do my artwork, I find things to take my mind off of the person I just broke up with. Go for a ride, take a walk. Focus on better things than think about the break up.

It's hard as he**! My experience was I was a basket case for a few weeks. I love to groom my myself and keep up with my appearance. Well, I had stopped doing that! I didn't care anything. It was a friend of mine who told me that I looked like a hot mess and I needed to start caring about myself again, inside and out. At first, I didn't see the point in doing this. Why move on if I can't be with the one I love, right? In time, the hurt wasn't as raw as it was in the beginning. I started to take pride in appearance again. I began to go out with my friends even when I detested the idea. Why go out? I won't have fun, right? Eventually that changed. I found myself actually laughing sometimes. I caught myself having moments thinking about other things aside from my ex and missing him. It stretched into days that would pass by and he would barely enter my mind. Days turned into weeks, and so on. Don't get me wrong. If I think about him now, I still feel a bit of a sting. But I've got my dignity and self respect back. He can't hurt me anymore. I've seen him many times we broke up and proved to my self that I'm strong. And although some of the feeling are still there for me, I've gotten pass the raw hurt and the pain. Time, perseverance and determination will help to get one out of the rut of a break up. You may not feel like talking about your feelings with anyone. That's cool. Cause I didn't. But don't stay secluded. Get out and stay occupied. The worst company is your own depression. God bless.

Me I just cry a lot and then think about the things I do have and get over it.
Life is too short to be bummed out for anyone. There is someone out there for everyone.
And on the way of finding that one we will have our hearts broken a couple of times. But, we will be happy at least that is what i believe.

Well, if it's out of your control, there isn't a lot that you can do besides let it go. It's hard, it's awful, but there isn't a lot that can be done. Although I recently went trough a separation and I found that eating myself into oblivion seems to feel better...just be careful, you'll wake up forty pounds later and ask yourself, "What the hell? Why didn't I just go to the gym?" LOL

Go out and get rollicking drunk. Sometimes make out with someone, sometimes just turn into a sobbing mess and get escorted out...I'm all class. Thankfully it's been a while since I've had to deal with that situation, and I don't think I'll have to again. Security is a great thing..

I throw myself into all kinds of things so that I don't have to think about it. It doesn't matter what it is, from going out with friends to cleaning the house, as long as I'm busy I don't think about it. Then at the end of the day I usually end up crying myself to sleep. I have wonderful amazing friends though so they are pretty great at helping me through it.

I drink heavily. This works especially well considering it's usually my drinking heavily that leads to the break up in the first place.
