Also, if you know of any good sites that can help with creating the resume that would help alot! The only previous employment is working at McDonalds, restaurant busboy and pizza delivery. How would I interpret that into sounding good? Im making this resume for my son, and I guess Im pretty clueless too! Thanks to all for your help.

I know you want to help your son, but he really needs to be the one to make the resume.
The objective should be short and sweet. Objective: To become employed for a cable installer.
When talking about the McD and busboy job, emphasize responsibility and customer service -- two things a cable installer will be looking for.

Find a job announcement for that postion and see what they are looking for in that position. Your objective doesnt really have anything to do with previous work experience, all though you could use it if it applies.
Try this: To obtain a challenging position that will utilize my technical maintenance background to bring innovative approaches to development strategy and fulfillment of developmental business goals.
