Trust is something that is earned, not automatic.

Have you given your boss a reason to NOT trust you? Perhaps you have been irresponsible on several occasions, perhaps you have done something to someone else you work with and it got back to the boss.

Just try to be responsible, respectful, and presentable so that your boss will be happy to have you work for him. (or her)
