I have 3 children a girl and 2 boys. Labor is a mindset, at least I think so. If you go in thinking it's going to be horrid it probably will. I went in thinking women have done this as long as there have been babies and under less than desirerable condtions than we have! And it wasn't that bad. They were all natural births 8 lbs, 3 hours, 8 lbs 1 oz 2 hours and 7 lbs 7 oz 12 hours. The smallest one was the worst, as he took the longest and I was so tired. I don't understand why most people go in and the first thing they want is an eppadural ! Cowards.
I once heard it discribed this way. Take both hands, grab your bottom lip and pull it out slightly. See, that's not to bad. Now quick, PULL IT OVER YOU HEAD! LOL
No it's not that bad. And it's worth it.

The pain is indescribable.....to the point i couldn't even open my eyes or speak....my son was 7lbs 13 oz....and labour started at 2 am and had him a little after 2 pm the next day......but once you see that little face you fall totally in love....I said I would never do it again but you forget the intensity of the pain and I would have another one tomorrow.....they are sure worth it...
It is the most amazing feeling in the world to have a life grow inside of you...then actually come out if you it is mind boggling....

Totally wonderful, I am one of the ladies that was only in labor 1 hour (no joke) and pushed about 5 times, and she was born...No drugs, no relaxation techniques, no drugs.....
I was only 18, and it was my first and only child......
It was great, I was talking on the phone 10 minutes before she was born, then called back my cousin 5 minutes after she was born, she thought I was joking......It was not bad at all, but I am a nurse, and have heard and seen long terrible labors!

The 1st one was like being pulled on a rack. My back ached so bad. I would walk around , & got sick. it lasted 14 hrs.(7lb. 15 oz)
2nd one lasted 8 hrs (9 1/2 lbs) back ache not as bad but legs would cramp, hips ached, & dang got really tired this time.

Well, have you ever had to poop so bad that your stomach is giving you those pains where you actually have to "hunch" over to get rid of them? Well, times that by a million, that's the contractions......and that's all that was painful for me, (my baby weighed 3.9 lbs.). I was preclamptic.

It's pain that you forget... No one should worry about the pain. Once you see that baby ~ you feel nothing but love...
