Tax records - go to your local town hall, they will have that information on record. You can also try a website that is free www.propertyshark.com. The information is accurate, but not always complete so it's very hit or miss.

call a title insurance company in or around the county that the house is located in, ask for the customer service dept. and give them the property address and the county it's located in & ask them for the current homeowner's names. Or you can just give me the address & i'll give it to you :)

try going to http://www.zillow.com they usually have the tax information.
