Use half a walnut - I know this sounds silly but it really works - also good for scratches to wood

If the wood is waxed try usinging white spirit Rub in to the wood on a cloth
Or to disquise the mark use shoe polish off the same colour.If the colour comes up to dark apply a little white spirit with a cotton bud too dilute the colour.

Try some Old English Furniture Polish or Scratch cover. Most of the time this will work but you may have to do it several times. If that don't work try a permanent magic marker the same color I do this myself sometimes.

A warm iron with a paper towel between the table and iron, the "ring mark" is caused by lingering dampness....rub the iron over the spot till it disappears

mix a paste of mayonaisse and cigarette ashes, and rub gently into the stain. Allow to sit for 20 minutes, and wipe off. Repeat the process until it disappears.

Not sure. Is it varnished? There should be a polish for that somewhere. Try not sitting on it naked in future ;)

Listen to mitsy. For dark woods, i know they use wet teabags to darken it, if there's no varnish. Crayons for scratches or candlewax.

If all else fails, sand it down and re-varnish. We;ve just done that with a bedside cabinet and it looks brand new again.
